Why do women agree to be side chicks?
It’s quite ironical that there are women who willingly agree to side chicks.
With the rate at which women cry foul when they’re cheated on and how society condemns cheating men, one expects that women would value exclusivity beyond compromise but that’s apparently not the case.
For some reason, some women have no qualms with being side chicks and would gladly be your available second choice despite knowledge of your real girl.
According to women, here are five reasons why this happens:
1. Convenience
According to Bloom, a millennial who just concluded NYSC, women agree to side chicks roles because of the emotional convenience that often comes with the it.
Not much is expected of you. Your ‘boyfriend’ spends most of his time with the main chick, alleviating some of the ‘pressure’ that would have automatically been on you.
2. Attention
Chinaza says “it is a matter of attention.”
If a guy treats a girl right and somehow satisfies every of her emotional and other demands, I don’t think she’s going to be bothered that there’s someone else, especially if she has had bad, toxic relationships in the past, she says.
3. Money
Financial benefits is all that counts to some women. If a guy has deep pockets, they won’t mind being his side chick. So far bills are being paid, no problem.
4. Sex
According to Ashley Moore, a relationship columnist at Humans Mag, “Another reward is the sexual pleasure. Let’s be honest; a man is not going to supply a side-chick with anything unless there is some type of intercourse involved.”
And if the man somehow offers nothing but bomb sex, it becomes all too easy for the woman to consent to being the second choice.

Sometimes women get deceived into these relationships, only to then find out along the line that there’s actually someone else.

There are things Ashanti man does not do. He does not swim, does not like wedding and the wife does not care not having one and won't call his kids by non ? Ashanti names. He does not cook or wash; the wife does both. The things he does: have about a dozen funeral cloths, goes to funeral every weekend, build or aspire to build his own house if he can afford or uncle does not have any to inherit. Even the educated ones are likely to have a farm somewhere: a cocoa farm, cassava farm or citrus plantation. He takes care of his parents, sister's children and the extended family. Ashanti man believes in litigation. Don't cross his path, he will take you to court. He will spend his last cedi on chieftancy matters. His identity is linked to a stool in his family and he does not hesitate to tell you about it.
His political affiliation? A relative likely spent some time in Nkrumah's Nsawam detention. His family supported National Liberation Movement and United Party. He later joined Progress Party, did not likeKutu Acheampong, supported Victor Owusu's PFP. Detested PNDC and NDC and yes, is very happy NPP is in power. If he does not call President Kufuor uncle, he seems to know someone that grew up with the President.
He supports Asante Kotoko and hates Hearts of Oaks. He's even against Hearts when Hearts plays a foreign team. He does not care if Cornerstones move out of the region. He refuses to eat fufu when Kotoko loses. Kotoko means more to him than the national team. Mfum, Osei Kofi, Razak, Opoku Afriyie, and Opoku Nti are his soccer heroes. He does not care about anyone that did not play for Kotoko.

Medeama set to land Asante Kotoko outcast Songne Yacouba in US$ 22,000 deal
Medeama SC are said to be the frontrunners in signing Asante Kotoko contract rebel Songne Yacouba.
The Burkina Faso international has still not reached an agreement with the Porcupine Warriors over a new deal as his contract expires.
Kumasi-based Oyerepa 100.7 FM has reported the Mauve and Yellows are ready to pay US$ 22,000 for his services.
But Yacouba and representatives are quoting US$ 30,000 for his free transfer.
It is understood Medeama have a deal to transfer the 28-year-old striker to a Saudi Arabian club next season.
The Burkina Faso international has still not reached an agreement with the Porcupine Warriors over a new deal as his contract expires.

Former Kumawood actor, Bernard Nyarko, one of the biggest and popular personalities on the screens has come out to say that he has stopped acting and is never going back to that profession again.
Bishop Bernard, as he is affectionately called in the movie industry, is now a full-time pastor after he was reportedly hit with an unknown illness.
In the video sighted by ghpage.com, the man of God whiles administering to his church congregation noted that he has followed the footsteps of ace actor Majid Michelle.
Both have now dedicated themselves to the ministry of God.
In his sermon, he revealed that he stopped acting because the industry is full of evil.
He went on to explain that in acting, one would meet new people especially women every day and almost all of them want to be your friend and if care is not taken you will end up having them in your bed.
“If I have stopped acting, I have stopped because of its full of evil. Every day you would meet different people, every day you would see different girls all of the wants you to become their friends and some of them are coming from the marine sea, they should take their movie” he said in the presence of his congregation.
